Where was I again?

I have to stop going places without checking out my exact destination first.  I haven’t done it for a while, but I headed out yesterday to go to a meeting of RWA (Romance Writers of America) Toronto Chapter and just assumed it would be at the same location as last month.

Nope.  North York Library and Northern District Library – 2 different places.  And, of course, it would be the day they were offering an editing course, so I really didn’t want to miss the session.

But by the time I figured out I was at the wrong location, it was five to nine.  Luckily I had the correct address in my phone, but only the vaguest idea of the area.  So I had to cab it.  $24 later, I’m 15 minutes late, but luckily the instructor was just wrapping up the introduction.

And so glad I went.  She was fantastic.  Great speaker.  Great information.  Now I just have to apply it to my newest book.

And next month, I’ll be double checking the address BEFORE I leave home.

How was your weekend?
